If you have installed the previous r841 beta, and have problem in category view.
Then clean cache and purge expired cache, and also logout and re-login, and then go to Flexicontent Home and do any POST-install tasks that appear on the panel.

Regards

in locket thread you tell me try this command in phpMyAdmin:
UPDATE `jos_flexicontent_fields` SET access=1
but in 1.7 the database preffix is ANOTHER by defiult.

The new version you don't need to do this, it has both bug fixes.
Just logout, login, install new version and go to Flexicontent home.

After that remember to clean and purge cache.

Test the category view.

Regards

Hi,

Just installed it on a fresh J!1.7, found some bugs :

- New blackbox window on "create new item" click (asks the type of the new item) :
The content of window is NOT displayed on Firefox 6 (screen still turns black). This works well in Chrome. Anyway I wonder if this pre-window is useful ?

- If you create a field, save it, and then reopen the properties fields, specific options are not updated on field type change.

- Global configuration : Separators are not styled (separator0, separator1, etc.)

Questions:

- Are the tables the same as 1.5 series ?
- Will the two branches (1.5 & 2) still evolve ?
- Is all the functions in 1.5.6 are (will) be implemented ?

Thanks

Tables are 99% the same.

Both branches will be maintained for at least a couple of years.

We have tried to include all features AND BUGFIXES of FC v1.5.6 to FC v2.0.

But some things may have escape. At least a dozen of features and bugfixes from fc v1.5.6 are missing from FC v2.0.

Also i think v2.0 has a couple of thing not present in v1.5.6

Report back what you find ...

About of prewindow. To list the field of an item you must first know its type. One way to do it is the prewindow, second way is to select, save (form reload), and third way to use AJAX.

About the other 2 bugs field config options and global config separators, we knew, but did not take a note about this.

This bugs are now logged, will be fixed but in a timely manner ...

Regards
