Hi again,

It's kind of hard to be more specific — both item view and category view are slow in the frontend. No issues in backend.

mmm, it must be some CONTENT plugin or System plugin or module or other extension , that loads together will FLEXIcontent.

I have added some logging code to log and display creation time for flexicontent pages and for flexicontent modules.

Will be on next build

Regards

Sounds great — looking forward to it, might be able to determine what causes the performance issues.

Hi again,

I've played a bit around with Firebug and the FlexiContent's Advanced Cache. Firebug tells me that the pages aren't cached (I get a 200 OK status on refresh, and it tells me "pragma: no-cache" as well.

Could there be an issue with the cache? It seems it puts the files in the cache folder.

Joomla caching is done on the server, to give to the browser the page faster. Having no cache on your browser would effect the downloading times, but not page creation

if you save the page on the disc, what is the size of it?
