Perfomance issues [Reading of templates not cached in J2.5]

Hi there,

I'm having huge performance issues with FlexiContent. I have a pretty large site with around 800+ pages and just as many menu items, as we're using it for our company intranet.

FlexiContent's cache is turned on, as is GZIP.

Are anyone else having issues with large FlexiContent sites?

I've tried turning on debug, and in afterDispatch I generally get around 7-10 seconds hanging before it continues to load the page.

hello witch version of flexicontent and joomla ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

It is not possible to help you, without giving specific examples of where you have performance problems.

e.g. if you disable FLEXIcontent advanced cache you will have problems with item/category edit form if you have many templates

"Newest" is not a version number.
Please provide the actual version info.

Are you running any modules which display lists of articles/items.
Some of the J2.5 core modules have big performance issues.

It's FLEXIcontent version 2.0 RC4 (r1235). Just noticed RC5 came out, I will upgrade to it this week.

I'm using "FLEXIcontent Module" to fetch items from a specific category. The only Joomla modules I'm using are menu and login. While the advanced search of FlexiContent still has issues, I'm using AceSearch.

The backend isn't slow (quite the opposite, actually).
