i think it difficult actualy to finished stable realase for some raison :
-georgios is alone for all version !
-many user want feature (you !! ;) )
-j2.5 is realy different (translation/ACL)

but i think the ending is comming (maybe august)
-we stop adding feature
-advenced search will be finished
-major bug are killed
...
i all ready use fc2.0 and joomla 2.5 and it work perfect ! on many site (multilangue, and other)

with migration tools of netassopro i think migration will be easly
reagrds

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I see.

So is my FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GGGRRRRR
I wish I was a hardcore coder, but i am not!

I hate you Micker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

....

Now seriously :D
I make features request in order to motivate the continuous of flexi content, I never espect for ggddpk to implement rigth away, but I must say thanks to hes help we manage to deliver 5 sites almost in time with very high quality, not possible without FC and he's help.

About the bugs, I will always report the bugs in order to make the solved in the forum so all users can see it.

My problem is time, I wanted to install locally j2.5 with fc 2.0 and try it extensively with the purpose of debugging. I am really short in time this right now that is way I didn't manage to finish my plugins :/

so where's the roadmap. I want to upgrade but my site relies heavily upon the flexicontent component.

This came up in my search and I thought it was a serious roadmap. Boy was I wrong.. it was simply an argument for something that has already actually happened.

GOOD TIMES :D

Hello,

upgrading is now possible
-- either manually (developers or web-designers only, not for end users ...)
-- or via a 3rd party tool that handles process automatically/

Please read the relevant FAQ article:

Upgrading from J1.5 to J2.5

Regards

Could you please clarify something because I am confused after reading the FAQ.

If I upgrade my J1.5 site to J2.5 and then install Flexicontent 2.0, should all the categories automatically work in the J2.5 version? Or is it a mandatory requirement to also use FLEXImigrate?

I have done the upgrade, but my category hierarchy has been lost: all categories are just children of the base category.
