I would be willing to pay for development time to create 1.5 to 2.5 migration scripts if that's a possibility. Maybe several of us to club together on this?

This will follow after final FLEXIcontent version for J2.5

You are right, but wanted to release something more complete. E.g. only recently provided a satisfactory solution for item associations item translations (full item translations with untranslatable fields).

Currently the CVS* import is not 95% ported to J2.5 version

*(only basic with no export)

Advanced search feature is lacking some features (J1.5/J2.5) and needs some debugging in J2.5

I did not want to add more features to current version but i needed them.

Mainly final version needs the Advanced search feature finished

Hello, this is my first time posting in the thread.

I haven't read all posts but most of them.

We are working in J1.5 because of a few things:

1 - FlexiContent
2 - Joomfish

I think FC for 2.5 is not ready yet for medium projects, also we need translation in our sites, so.

I would love to have FC in 2.5 it would solved a lot of problems to all of us. But we will be in 2.5 I think until 2013 and beyond. Why? Because of this rapid releasing cycles the Framework change to much and no component could follow it steps STABLY!

This saying, we are using j1.5 with FC and FACCESS and we won't be changing to any Jupgrade version anytime soon.

Unless something changes dramatically :D
