I can not say for sure but probably within next 10 days.

I will try to find time to do it sooner ... no guarantees , though.

I have installed the latest beta of FC and it work well for me until now.
I do not used J1.6 Access level for now, so that i haven't test this. I use Flexicontent Module extremly a lot as I also have my own template for it, which i use in my site.
I have only one problem, which i can solve it localy but I want know if there is another way.

I have ported articles from another site and the old site build the summery of an article (when display a short description) from its fulltext. Joomla use another way to define an intro. is there is way to let FC to build the intro from the fulltext (sure we should set how much character or words to include)?

is fantastic flexicontent working with joomla 1.7!

I've already filled a form from the front end.

It does not work, unless you are registered as an administrator. may be my mistake. the message generated is:#403 You are not authorized to perform this task. Please Login to access this page.

when I register as a normal user, generates the same error.

I have reviewed some permissions, but can not find where this error.

already resolved. for whom the same thing happens, go to:
admin panel > site > global configuration> permissions > public >
in create change to allowed
in edit change to allowed

but does not allow unregistered users

this is the test site
www.uninternet.org/pruebas select: formulario flexicontent.

send me a form please

saludos

Please take time to read joomla 1.6/1.7 documentation

1. Unregistered users can NOT submit/edit content.
2. By default registered user can NOT submit/edit content.

-- You must edit user and assign the user to the Author user group so that he/she can edit his/her items.

-- You must edit user and assign the user to the Editor user group so that he/she can edit all items

The above are the default permissions FOR author and editor groups and you can change them, so what i say above applies only if you have not changed the default permissions.

Please take time to read joomla 1.6/1.7 documentation

We have a couple of other (smaller) permissions issues such as limiting the category tree that the user can assign an item.

Best Regards

Great job on the new release — however, for me, advanced search still doesn't work. I still get zero results. When I try to build a new search index, it only finds the items that have tags. I have about 500 items, but only 14 of them are listed in the search index. I've tried purging and rebuilding, but nothing works.

Weird thing is, the items actually do appear in the table flex_flexicontent_items_ext in the database.

I still rely on the plugin that aazam uploaded in this thread in order to be able to search.
