i checked checkbox and checkboximage (and for selectmulitple) (v3.0.6)

All parameters are applied when displaying checkbox inside a fieldgroup:

- field start text
- field close text
- value separator
- value prefix
- value suffix


Also no new line (line feed), a space is added by default for value pretext and value suffix,
which is possible to disable with parameter: "Remove space"

to see the real HTML, do a "view HTML source", do not examine it via the browser because it does formating and indenting

I dont understand ? There is no line feed added by default or I must use the "Remove Space" option to disable linefeeds between values ?

no new line is added:
- prefix get a space appended:
prefix+' '
- suffix get a space prepended:
' '+suffix

you can use "remove space" parameter to avoid having the space added

I have just upgraded to 3.0.6 and re-checked. The bug is still there. The value separator is not working when viewing checkboxes in 3.0.6. and "Use field in a group" is enabled. This happens when using the checkbox field on its own or within a fieldgroup.

Prefixes and postfixes do work. But using them as a workaround to replace the value separator is not possible because then one has either an extra separator at the end or beginning.
