How to override Flexi Filter Module?

For example, to get ability for using icons instead text in dropdowns.
As be honestly, I don't know.
But I have real task - to change DropDown "All Words" on icon (like settings).
So, I asked - how to do this using overrides.
It's not possible.
Right?

i mean should the options be different or have icon, or have different language strings ?

- you want the currently selected text e.g. "ALL words" not to be shown
instead an "Cog" icon will show

Also besides the above, (which i have understood)
you suggest to be able to hide the module via a more-options icon (3 horizontal lines icon) ?
