Hi,

I come back to give some feed back, in particular one
: the template duplication

1/ I duplicate the "default" template, I rename it as "region" (so, now it works, great !)
2/ I create a type "Region", assigning it the "region" template
3/ I create a custom field, assigning it to the type "Region"
4/ In the template "region", I place my custom field in an existing position
5/ I create an article, assigning it the type "Region", I fill the fields with some information
6/ Then I create a menu link to my article. But I can't see my custom field. Actually I understood that my article follow the settings for the "default" template, and not the custom settings I made with my own template

(hope my explanations are understandable)

At a couple of places the parameters are not loaded because of some changes in joomla 1.6/1.7, i think this is the same problem, as one reported before for tag menu link parameters ignored, thanks for reporting.

Your words point to the above explanation, will fix this.

Keep an eye for other places that maybe parameters are ignored (not loaded properly), there be one or 2 more places.

Regards

Hi guys,

Do you know if you'll be able to include the following feature request in FlexiContent 2.0:

[attachment=0:3kocvw9g]<!-- ia0 -->item-list2.png<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:3kocvw9g]

The idea is to allow us to keep filtering from a specific category so that it's easier to manage a large number of articles.

The values of these drop-downs would need to be persistent (at least for the current session), and they would also need to be available when creating a new article.

We are waiting for this feature before we are able to adopt FlexiContent on our site.

If you are able to include this feature, you'd be the only extension anywhere that provides this lost functionality back to Joomla! 1.7.

Please say it's possible, and that we'll see it before you release version 2.0 :-)

Thanks for the explanation. If I find another problem like this one, I'll report it here
