HELP! Which DB tables to Transfer?

(obviously, I use style_ instead of jos_)

Any other thoughts? There are just some connections not being made.

The custom fields, categories and such are just not showing up. It seems bizarre.

I have copied not only the DB tables, but the actual files in:

administrator/components/com_flexiaccess
administrator/components/com_flexicontent
components/com_flexiaccess
components/com_flexicontent

Hoping there might be something in there.

I am thinking this could be an issue for others, so hopefully we can figure this out.

I am assuming that you are replacing everything in those tables.

Why not just backup the entire website?
Use Akeeba Backup to backup and restore.

There are a few reasons:

1. I am moving from a multi-sites format to a single site format (all 20+ sites).

2. I have a new blank canvas dev site, and I've installed updated versions of programs.

3. Ideally, once this is figured out, I'll use the knowledge to more effectively clone my sites.

I wish it were that easy. I can't see any reason that it should be this difficult, or figure out what I'm missing.

Are you moving all the content and users into one database?
So you will have one back-end and the individual "sites" are really just different categories?

If that is the case you are then merging items.
Are there different content types in these different sites?
You are then also merging users.
Users with different access rules I would assume.

Articles/items are fairly easy to merge.
Users are also fairly easy to merge.
But I am having trouble trying to imagine doing this with all the extended data, user groups, etc.

I also do not understand how "cloning" a site fits into this.
