Catalogue view

Hello
I have no luck to get the display like you wrote (ggppdk). Besides, your display will not exactly meet my needs. Like I wrote in my 1.post, I need to display main categories with the description and their sub categories with items list.
The best way to meet my needs is to use the default template with Table listing and not the blog template and the menu item Directory view and modify this view to display the items list under the sub categories.
But I need someone to make this modifications for me, because i can not do it myself.
I have read some posts, where other people looks for this - to have an option to list also items in the directory view. It will be very nice, if you programmers will add this option to the directory view or create a new "catalogue view".
