the URLs of the pagination get a:

/category/

this seems to done by changes in Joomla 3.9
debugging this online is problematic

i would ask you if i can download a website backup

Hello,

yes I give you the agreement to download my website backup if it's the sure way to fix this issue in Joomla 3.9.
I hope these changes will work with the upcoming Joomla 4 also.

Hello

the pagination issue
was related to a change in our code in which Joomla API does not handle weel

it is fixed now in your website and fix will be include in our next release

About the given code to override page heading when layout is author, will answer tomorrow

Hello

about colon it was inside the example that i gave you
i have used

Code:

$custom_heading = JText::_('MY_FC_ITEMS_OF_USER') . ' ' . $authorObj->username;

and then added in Language overrides (backend manager) the new language string

add it for "English Site" (frontend)
add it for "French Site" (frontend)

you can go to Language overrides management and edit the translations of language string "MY_FC_ITEMS_OF_USER"
