FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

if image-gallery field is in "folder" mode, it will be

path_to_images_in_field_config/item_ID_field_ID/original/

note original files are not accessible via URL because of an .htaccess file, in the folder,
you can disable this protection via a parameter in field's configuration

if image-gallery field is in DB-mode then it will be (see the "Target folder" in "Image source" TAB of the field config)
components/com_flexicontent/uploads (SECURE folder via .htaccess, files not accessable via URL)
components/com_flexicontent/media (MEDIA folder files accessable via URL)

Hello

what do you mean ".htaccess" is removed ?

if you removed it manually,
then please note that it maybe re-added at any time, during thumbnailing checks

the proper way is to turn off parameter "Protect original images"

the htaccess file is created in each folder with the image, and so blocking Directive - how can you remove the creation of this file when you add a photo?

You have to go to the image or gallery field settings and edit image source.

Joomla! 3.9.11 and FC 3.3.1.5
