This proposal designed mainly for end-users.

In backend:
1. Set number of images for upload.

In Frontend:
1. Images will be populated in image box one by one, by clicking one upload button.
2. Delete image by clicking X button in image box.
3. Reordering by dragging image box.
4. File extension and size is described under image box
5. Images will be finally uploaded when save item.

I know that current FC image field is really powerful.
But in terms of UI for end-user, I guess this proposal will be easier to use.
Best Regards,

FC image field is just working great, but it could be even better if you could:

1. I don't see the text for toggle button label.

2. If I click Add New Image, It loads File Extentions and Size together. It would be better if you could hide it from the beggining.
So If user wants to see it then they just click toggle button, what do you think?

3. Once Toggle button is clicked to hide File Extentions and Size,
Can you make all image holder working as button to load file browser? what do you think?

Regards,

Edit:

The toggle button is not displayed in new item form.
The toggle button is working correctly in edit item form.

Hello
- the DB-reusable mode has no file browser, it has a select drop-down list of already used images, which you can convert thumbnails via parameters in image field configuration
- the "folder mode" has a file browser

no more changes to image field are planned before September or later
Priorities now are:
- bugs (we are doing very well here with v2.0.2 and v2.0.3 despite the size of the component)
- J3.x support
- Content installable kits

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
