Great things

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

You can download: the new version v1.5.6 which has:
(a) an author layout for category view, that acts exactly as a author view.
(b) an author manager in the backend to full customize the author layout.
(c) option to use a Flexicontent item to present the author !!!

You can use the author view :

1. by creating a new menu link , (choose Flexicontent/Category/Author)
2. by creating a url like this:
index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=category&layout=author&authorid=84&cid=0

note if you specify cid=0 it will show author items from all categories

Is it possible to create a menu item that show a category that only show " MY ITEMS"?

I have a professional blog and I want to create a menu item each user can see hes own items.

form now I have created 5 menut items for each writer.

But image a JORNAL WEBSITE with 100 writers. It would be easer to have a menu item called. Autor- My items or items submitted.

Yes, this is needed indeed, will create a new menu item type: "User items" which you can name as you like e.g. "My Items"

Will include this to v1.5.6 , during the next, and before the next public beta of v1.5.6
