about the other query can you confirm that you have FLEXIcontent XMAP plugin or other sitemap plugin ?

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

a problem with the query is that it includes:
introtext and fulltext which are TEXT columns,

thus slowing down the query, in almost all our other queries we avoid this,

and only retrieve them later via 2nd query (if really needed)

again how many items and categories do you have ?

PS: we are improving our email notifications of new / modified content, and also adding expiring / after expire notification ...

I have many items (36 000) on a category :-)

what kind of email notifications does this site need or would use ?
- new items
- modified items
- favourites
- expiring content / have expired content

I don't need any notification, i don't have setting this anymore i have just found that if the joomla update notification plugin system is enable my website is very very slow on backend and frontend.
