Worked like a charm, I think that it's more of a language barrier. It makes sense to me now that I understand what the parameters are referring to. A few good tutorials would be really helpful. Maybe I can help you with those once I get better at this whole thing.

We cannot put a warning about misconfigure module since some time we want the module to display nothing

e.g. you can set the module to non-static aka dynamic and only display items if the current displayed page is a FLEXIcontent item and e.g. display the related items that have the same tags

Also you can use the module to display only category information and no items, e.g. set it to include types and select no type.
