[NEW REQUIREMENT: a field needs to be assigned to the type to be displayed] Relation-reverse field does not display items after updating to 3.0.6

now also check that these exact fields are in a template position of the template used by the type
(individual items may have select a different template than the type, you may want to also check this)

then also check that which field the relation field is reversing, and that there are related items

the templates and the items are all connected like before....I don't think they change because of the update?

after you check the above give me (via PM) an example:
- the ID of a reverse relation field F
- the ID of an item that is related to items via relation field R, and the item is of TYPE A and type A uses the reverse relation field F to display these items related via field R

The "Result" Items-type are not connected with the "results" template anymore? I just update the component and didn't change 20+ items.

Also the results template has different layout then before, how could this happen?

it can happen if the form is submited without the 'layout' form field
or
if you rename a template folder
or
other reasons

so finally the problem was that the type did have the template assigned to it
- assigning the template to the type made the fields appear

ok, then it is ....the other reason

But, how could the template layout change and how can I be sure this happens not a third time when I update to a new flexicontent version?
