How to show Joomla Articles on frontpage - new to flexicontent

Item page is still 'blank' when navigating using FLC Directory

FLEXIcontent "directory" page does not list any items, you need to use category view, which can show
items and also peer categories and sub-categories

please put website online, and give URL to the frontend view

The 'directory' is using category view (category level 1), it is showing 'peer' categories and subcategories but not showing items at the end

Carried out the following tests:
1. created FLC menu with single item --> shows blank page (fronted)
2. created joomla menu with single Article --> shows article on fronted

Im use Mamp Free which doesn't have the Mamp Pro Dynamic DNS and LAN feature - Buying Mamp Pro is under consideration... In the meantime, i can send some pictures

Putting the data online is a challenge due to the large amount of data (100k plus)

i tried another test...
When i install a new joomla plus Flexicontent the Items show on Frontpage, no problems

When i import categories (CSV) - the problems above start
i just noticed the created_user_id is different - i'll change it to current super-user id and see if that works

Hi - i found the following issue

when i update 'initial permission' it creates an 'assets issue' that stop items from opening

When i fix the 'assets issue' using ACL Manager... items open normally

however, when i restart the server, the update 'initial permission' comes back and the items don't open

i tested versions 2.2.1 and 3.0.6a

please do not "fix" with ACL manager,

ACL manager did not care to be compatible with FC

- you can fix with ACL manager and then relogin and visit FC backend and update initial permissions , but then do not re-fix
