fc universal mod - content item loads in layout associated with menu item of secondary category

When I assign a content item to more than one category, the content item is loaded in the layout of the secondary category's related menu item, ousted of the menu item associated with the primary category.
This happens only when the content item is linked from the FC Universal Content module.

My aim is to make the content item display always under the menu item associated with the primary category, not the secondary.

Is this a known issue or a bug?

Thanks.

Hello

you mean that the URL of item is creating using the menu item of the secondary category ?

Hello

this is done deliberately
but if you are only displaying items from 1 primary category

then you can force its menu item via a parameter

but i see the usage scenario for this
the secondary category is just a grouping of them ? e.g. category "left column featured" ?

Hello

i looked at it
the code to use secondary category in the URL is enable
when category filtering scope is enabled

so no implementation needed, the code to disable this is already there
we can just add a parameter to control it

Link items via their main category
Yes
No (use selected)

Still the default should be "No" to keep existing behaviour

in this particular case. the secondary category is also taxonomic. That is to say. it is used to help classifying the content item.
It's not a mere placeholder.
