Thanks George. Here's what I did from the super admin backend.
Saved access to guest. Then resaved it to public. However, this did not work. Am I doing it right?

Cheers!

Hello

i tested with 1 item and saving with public access fixed the isssue

you maybe using this deleted access level in caqtegories too
- only super admin will be able to see them, until you set a public access level

will make this
- when access level has been deleted , then the number will shown so that backend administrator is warned of bad access level
