Hello

I tested and it is behaving correctly

correct behaviour:
- the current import form settings are remembered until you logout
- or until import finishes and you click "Reset import task", then the defaults are loaded again

So,
what you experience is the intended behaviour, it is not a bug

- if you want to keep different settings for many imports,
then you can edit component to set different defaults

Let me ask the last thing: after an import is done successfully, is there any way to restart/close the process WITHOUT clicking "cancel the import" and losing ALL my settings?

thank you

So you suggest having 2 buttons:

- Reset and load default form settings
- Reset and keep form settings

well, right now I can only cancel the import and lose all the settings.
Maybe it's a feature, in my very humble opinion it's a bug [and I'm a developer too]

Hello

in my very humble opinion it's a bug [and I'm a developer too]

well it does what we parameters description in component configuration say,
they are loaded at the start of the import process
- and after import process finishes the defaults are loaded as described

for something to be called a bug it must behave differently than the intended behaviour
- if intended behaviour is not best choice that is a different thing, you can propose to change
