Hello

the form remembers its last loaded values (during current session),
- these are of higher priority than defaults !!
and it is the expected behaviour

imagine submitting the form and you get an error and all your selections were reset to the defaults, and then you would have to re-enter them

nope. default values are loaded after every import, succefully or not.

the form load my settings only for the first import.
as soon as it finishes all the settings are lost [even with successfull import] and I need to logout and login again to reload my settings.

Hello

the default settings are loaded when you first access the import form
- after that the last form settings of current session are (/ should be) remembered

are they not ?
if you want to suggest a better behaviour,
then you can explain why something is problematic or why something is preferable to behave differently

no, my saved default settings [in flexicontent configuration] are loaded only for the first access and use of the import form.
after the import, successfully or not, the settings return to the "factory" default values.

I'm [sorry, I WAS] doing a massive import of 40 files.
everytime, except the first after the login, the "factory" settings were loaded instead of my saved settings in the flexicontent configuration... so every time I needed to manually set all the paramters OR logout and login again...

To me this is a bug... am I wrong?

The correct behaviour is always to load as default the settings saved in flexicontent configuration and NOT the "factory" ones.
