With new code this
domain/cat1/sub1/id-sub1/id-item

should be

domain/cat1/sub1/item/id-item

is it not ?

if not send me a PM with a specific example in your site

ok , the fix was correct but incomplete,

a line to unset the cid variable was missing

i have update router.php file in your site, it should work now

e.g. Page with ulr1 includes urls with double cid, for example url2 and url3

Now, URLs are (like) this:

with previous fix, URLs are (like) This:

the best for me, is:

or
