You cann't unless you make a template override for it, quite some work ...

I would put another field visible in the introduction of the item before the full story.
example:
I have a title field, a img field and the link to read more.
When I click on read more:
I find the full item
how can I do to have the img field visible before the read more...?
When displaying items in category view, you can edit the category view of the template, to place the image field where you want.
