What Flexicontent version are you using?

Are you using the default templates (default and blog)?

Have you altered any template files?

Are you sure you are editing the correct template for the category? Check what template you have set for category.

Make sure you have not by mistake displaying other category.

Don't edit item by standard joomla article manager

Steps:
1. Assign the fields to the item type
2. Edit the items of the category
3. Set template for category
4. Edit template to put the fields into the template

OK, make some test with the default and blog templates, to see if the problem is in your new template

ggppdk wrote: You mean in the com_frontpage of Joomla?

You cann't unless you make a template override for it, quite some work ...

Better set your home page to point to a special flexicontent category page:
Read how here:
www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic

i can't read this post...!!! why...?

Hi ggppdk

I'm doing tests with FC 1.5.6
always with the last SVN version

i am of the opinion that there is still the problem what i have described here
flexicontent.org/forum/index.php?f=29&t=3632&rb_v=viewtopic

the item view (item.php) from the blog Template shows nothing

perhaps this is also the problem of janvan

Regards
