Native multi languages was created by caw
when i use this tutorial:https://flexicontent.org/documentation/tutorials/84-advanced-tutorials/655-how-to-translate-a-flexicontent-site-with-joomla-native-function.html

when i associate categories with another categorie in other language, i cant make a mnep for display category, because error appears:

"flexi content Item can not be associated, it is already used inside other translation group"

what is it?

Hello

if you have a french language item or category and you want to
e.g
associate it with and english one
if the category or item you want to select is already associated
- then you can not use it again

you will need to edit find the desired english-language item or category
edit it
and clear at least its french association

Hi,
sense is that for example if you switch language the assigned article in the other language is displayed. Or that Google sees that there is an alternative article in different languages and puts it in its index.

Hello

Language Associations is a Joomla 3.x feature (but we had this since J1.5 too)

and they work as Rooney described:
- when you change frontend language you see the --exact same content-- in the newly selected language

(the above happens if you did things properly and you have written your translations)

In short
A set of associated items translate content A
- you can not say that 1 of the above items (of the above set) also translates some other Content B

Just for flexicontent we added some better feedback message if you try to use an item into 2 sets of associations
