How to transfer categories and types on another site?

I'm more interested to import data from any Joomla component in to FlexiContent.
I understand, that it's impossible to create such tool.
So we have to use csv format.
But I can't find any instruction how to make exported cvs file correct for import in FlexiContent.
I'm talking only about categories.
But it will be super great if we have same instruction for items too.

So, I can export categories from ZOO (for example) using j2xml, and then import them in to FlexiContent?
