Hello

I am using a Flexicontent File Manager where various users upload files.

I also have a File Download field. In the files list of this filed I only see the files that are uploaded by me. I would like to access all the files uploaded in the file manager in the file download field; regardless of which user has uploaded them.

Is there any way to achieve this?

Thanks

Hello

all files that exists in Filemanager ?
or all files that have been assigned to the specific field regardless of who uploaded the file ?

All files that exist in file manager.

I cannot assign files to a specific field if I have not uploaded them (cannot see them in the file list). Am I doing something wrong ?

Hello

for the usergroup that you want to be able to see ALL files,
"allow" the ACL privilege "View All files (uploaded by any user) " at component permissions

Do I need to edit the file field and setup the permissions?

How should I allow the ACL privilege ?

Hello

at Flexicontent dashboard click "Configuration" button to open the
component parameters and permissions

then go at the permissions TAB and in it select the usergroup that you want
and then scroll to the bottom to find the ACL privilege "View All files (uploaded by any user)"
