Hi,

I'm using Joomla 3.8.6 and FLEXIcontent 3.2.1.12. I have added a File filed in the items list. The "Download" button appears but when I click to download, theere's a page refresh with no download. Nothing happens, no errors and nothing in the console.

If I clieck to edit the item, the file is listed.

Thanks for your help.

I found the problem. The file I uploaded was in my download folder. So when I clicked the download button, instead of prompting me to overwrite, the button does nothing. If I delete the local file, it does work. An overwrite prompt would be nice.

Thanks for your great support!

Hello

what you suggest depends on browser right ?

almost all browsers will download the file again

and rename it like this

filename (1) .ext
filename (2) .ext
filename (3) .ext

i am curious of how what you describe is happening
which browser did you use ?

I tried with Chrome and Firefox on Fedora 27.

Usually, what you describe happens. It downloads and renames the file if the file exists but it's not happening for me in FLEXIcontent with the download button.

Thanks.
