How does category connect to data source

we have put it in github for share evolution for now nothing was compatible

I already purchased flexiimport and then I paid for additional support to help configure the component to import xml feeds to automatically populate flexicontent categories.

We went with a paid component because we are advertising the option of importing classified ads feeds from our clients. This option is already build into our media kits and we have clients who joined specifically for this option.

Now I can't reach the extensions.netassopro.com/ website.

1, I don't know if I can update my website to Joomla 3.8 ? Is Fleximport compatible?

2. I'm not understanding. Are you saying that the core Flexi Content component does have an import tool but it cannot place items into a specific category?

probably fleximport has does not override Joomla core classes
so J3.8 should not be a problem for it
