Hello

that is correct the fields show depend on the template being used

- in content type configuration you can select the default template for the items of this content type

- but in each item you may select to override the template defined in content type configuration

Regards

Thank you very much. It has worked now. I just have a few more doubts.

1. I was not able to find a numerical search field. Is there any field or extension which allows the searching of a range of numbers for example searching for a range between 1-100?

2. The checklist field label clearly has a special format when viewed on front end (white font in red square) whereas text field label does not have any format. Is there anyway to manage these formats or is this configuration unchangeable. I want to make the text field label look the same as the checklist field label or change its style if possible. See attachment entitled doubt 2.png

3. The format of the search results contains a lot of metadata about the content as well as certain fields from the content. (see attachment entitled doubt3.png) I just want to see the content type heading and maybe a few select fields. Is it possible to change this search results view?

Thank you so much for your help.

note sure but use css to do this you can add a flexicontent.css file in your template/css folder to override value

two way create a link to your search and connect menu id to you search => you can configure it
if it's not enough you can override search view like other joomla view (template/html/com_flexicontent .. ect)
