The system has detected that some items are not yet bound to their extended data. Either you have just import them from Joomla!'s com_content or you changed the content section in the global configuration. This process may consume a lot of server resources depending on the number and the size of your contents. To avoid timeouts use a reasonable value according to your server capacity and the number of items to bind.

Not sure why?

.
Are you adding/editing articles in the core Article Manager?
This uses com_content and does not add the extended information required by FLEXIcontent.
When FLEXIcontent finds articles in a category it manages without the extended information, the message is displayed.

All editing should be done via the FLEXIcontent Item Manager.

This will happen:
1. if you create articles outside the Flexicontent items manager.

2. When you first install Flexicontent

Also you give no details.

1. Have you been using it Flexicontent for some time before this appearing?
2 You have just installed Flexicontent?
3. After pressing bind, does it continue to ask you to bind or does it go away?
4. Did someone else create articles outside of Flexicontent?

Please provide as many details as possible.

Regards

Thanks for your quick reply and help in advance!

Flexicontent was already and up until today the error didn't exist. I believe the problem happened when 1-3 articles were edited outside of Flexicontent today. Forgive me for not knowing very much about this plugin, I'm not familiar Flexicontent so I didn't want to choose to "bind" anything before getting advice. The error shows "1 items to bind". The drop down menu next to it shows "100 items". I wasn't sure if the 100 was default or if I needed to choose another option number form the drop down list.

Thanks again!

You can safely click bind to bind the 1 item to its extended data.

About the "100":
The "100" items is a limit not to have timeout when binding items on sites that have thousands of articles.

Also the "100" value is rather low you can safely use a much larger value.
