Can you look at the other post, "strip text but not iframe"? This could be my workaround.

For example, the user pastes in the youtube ID into the video field. And then pastes some syntax, like {video}, in the Description where ever he wants the video to display.

replacing field anywhere in the page is implemented in current version but disabled,

if i remember the reason is that we could not add field's CSS and JS files to the page at a later time

will check to enable this for next version, but it may work for fields that add CSS / JS files to the head
