I found and fixed in RC1a, the bug of RC1 that was related to multi language POST Installation task failing.

You should not stay with r955 since it has some serious bug regarding item view and joomfish, please get the v1.5.6 RC1a:
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/downloads/list

Please note this has among other fixes some small template updates too.

Regards

There is an issue with how images are displayed using the new mod_flexicontent.

In the module parameter: Display parameters for ITEMs (used by some Layouts)

Image Parameters > Image Source...

If I select an image FIELD that I have previously set up (for instance a FIELD called "family") the proper image does not display on the front-end.

In the FIELD options when you add a new IMAGE field you have the option to designate which directories you would like to store your thumbnails in (Large, Medium, Small). This works just fine, the thumbs are created and stored properly.

However, what mod_flexicontent is trying to do is to display the original "file name" from the root directory of the site thus resulting in an ugly blue image with red text that says "Error messages disabled," (at least in my case).

When I right click on the image to see it's source I can clearly see that the module is only looking for the images' original file name in the root directory.

For example, when I upload an image called mom.jpg in an image field called "family" and store it in the directory "images/stories/flexicontent/ it will create the following files:
l_mom.jpg
m_mom.jpg
s_mom.jpg

However, when I use the module to display the photo from the "family" image field it goes looking for:
/mom.jpg

I want it to go find:
/images/stories/flexicontent/s_mom.jpg

What I would like is for mod_flexicontent to give me the option to chose which thumb to display (Large, Medium or small), and for it to go look for it in the proper directory.

Make sense?

Will test this, does it occur always regardless of SEF on/off?

I opened an issue to fix for RC2 ...
