FLEXIContent - v1.5.6 - final for J1.5 released (r1648)

Please clarify this:

You have created a menu link to an item K and when you click a link to item K in the Flexicontent module, the menu item does not become active?

ok I'll try to explain using the example page (FC 1.5.5 (r607) ... where it works

on the home page (frontpage) you see
Aktuelle Beiträge (Recent items)
and
Aktuelle Termin der Solargeno (recent events ...)
these are two FC Modules

when i click a item title link
e.g. Jetzt in die Zukunft investieren
the menu item (parent) Projekte and the Sub menu item (child) Justus1 Landau is switched to the status active/become active.
the way it should be, because the item Jetzt in die Zukunft investieren is assigned to the category Justus1 Landau (=subcat of Projekte)

with FC 1.5.6beta this does not work anymore
the menu item Startseite remains active always

I cannot recreate the behavior, you describe. I have no idea why this is happening, i see that your site uses standard joomla SEF?

yes, the site use standard joomla SEF
but i think that does not matter
in this regard i have already tested all the possibilities (with SEF, without SEF ...)

A note: in the Flexi Module is a new param to show the current Category (item view)
the title may also have a link - Link title to category
when i click this cat title link
the right menu item is switched to the status active/become active - So it works for cat title link

The new parameter can:
-- show category information of the category of the item currently displayed by flexicontent component,

e.g. you can use when you display other items of the same category (of current item), you propably want to display the category information too, like category title, description and image!

But the query is broken (i forgot a comma at the query at the end of file helper.php, i fixed, next beta version will have fix, but if you installed from SVN you already have the fix)

I tested related field, but when i reload page appears this Fatal error: Call to a member function getErrorNum() on a non-object in /public_html/plugins/flexicontent_fields/relateditems.php on line 306.
