if you set these (at the "template" parameters TAB) of layout editor
-- then please note that the category and the parent categories must be set to "Use global"
also check that menu item does not override them

non, je ne pense pas parce que le problème est présent même avec Beez3 et Protostar

i meant the FLEXIcontent template (which has 2 layouts: item and category) that is effecting only the FLEXIcontent template area

At first there is the component (FLEXIcontent) global configuration and then the layout editor, then parent categories (if heritage is enabled), category, then menu items and at the end the item settings, it's right?

If you install v3 BETA7d we see an explanation , it is the default value inside the PHP code
