Hello

actually this limit is always active

and it is whatever your MySql DB has in its confiuguration,

usually 4 characters, and you can change it: (see our FAQ)
Changing the minimum word length allowed for searching

but regardless of the minimum search word lenghth, you can search partial words since r1847+

e.g. if you search for 'book' , then 'bookcase' will also be matched

(exact phase will not match partial words)

and if I put word: et ( 2 characters), there isn't error and message and some items appear ?

Hello

yes, e.g. 'et' could find word 'etetraete'

maybe a better message will be

word 'dd' is too short (<4) and no words starting with 'dd' were found

word 'dd' is too short (<4) and no words starting with 'dd' were found

Last question:
Also how is interpreted simple quote in search, because for example I want find word d'col ?
In d'col there is two word d and col , it's ok ?
Because if I put d'col , I have 151 items and if I put d col , I have 145 items.

Thanks,

Regards,

Eric

Hello,

You say d'col is treated as 1 word.
But I have one only item with word d'col and if I put d'col in search, I have 145 results ??

Eric
