[check fw log] flexicontent crashing and getting IP blocked!

This has happened twice now: I am doing something to (e.g. creating FC item) I click cancel or save, there is an error, and my IP get's blocked by the server firewall. I can still view websites, and log on on another IP, but something is happening that firewalls don't like. What is happening and what can I do to stop it?

I am new to FC and I am only using a testing site to practice creating items, fields, etc, and to make sure that the result is resonsive (other CCKs are not responsive, which is why I am trying out FC). But I am only on Tutorial 4 - it's not encouraging that this is happening quite often. Has anybody else had this problem and solved it? Help would be much appreciated.

do you mean firewall on the server ?

please check the firewall log to see the reason,


-- probably you have some false positive (again in any case please check which firewall rule was triggered)
-- or the also other software in your browser that maybe causing this

Did that, thanks. It was mod_security - they tell me that they've excluded my dedicated IP from any mod_security triggers. So hopefully this will solved the problem. Thanks.

(each server has custom set of such rules)
