Hi,

I am displaying randomly chosen items from a category on 2 modules on the same page.

Is it a way in the settings to avoid having dupes that sometimes happens?

Hello

no you can not, every module does not care / does not know of other content modules ...

- only by creating 1 module , and then using custom module layout to split the items ...
which maybe extra work for you (and also you custom layout might need a little updating in future ...)
