Order Items by Item Order Attribute?

Is there a way to order the items in the module by the item order attribute (they way I manually ordered them in the backend)?

the item's ordering is called
"single category ordering"

(note FLEXIcontent items has ordering attribute for every category that they belong)

-- you should use "item's ordering" only if category SCOPE is enabled and

a. EITHER select only 1 category in category SCOPE,

b. OR select MULTIPLES categories (with/without their sub-cats) in category SCOPE,

but your items belong to a single category out of ALL categories selected in category SCOPE

- otherwise any of the multiple item ordering of the items maybe used
