Hawing problems with displaying fields was created by laure2

Hello ,
so i hawe a problem if i do this php command

Code:

<?php echo $this->fields["field_name"]->display ; ?>

it displays my text field correctly
but in my inspector view i get

Code:

<div style="display:inline" itemprop="name">Value of the field</div>

and what i need is to get it only "value of the field" without the div if i create a new one it does just that , but if i use my old one (the one that i need cus it has like 500 entries and reentering them could waste time) it gives me with the div
so is it posible to set value of one field to another?
and maby i can fix my old field to display only text?

Alredy fixed it the problem was with metadata just made it disabled and it works

to get the raw field values you can use:

﻿[code]$item->fieldvalues[57]

[/code]where 57 is the ID of the field
