Hello,
I have been working on this for several hours now and can't make sense of it.

I have a field (type "file"). The I am trying to display the contents of this field (or any other for that matter) specifically without having to display EVERY field defined on the template. Should be simple enough, right?

Not so.

I've been looking over the templating tutorial which is in French and out of date (so the translated version says).

Anyone else figured out how to do this?

Hello kspoddar,

I am trying to display the contents of a simple text field.

In the template, the code to display ALL fields appears to be:

<?php echo $field->label; ?> & <?php echo $field->display; ?>

for field label and content respectively.

I only want to display the content of 1 text field. I have been trying to follow the template tutorial and can't seem to make it work for one single text field. I don't know if the template coding has changed or not, but it's not working. I would appreciate any insight anyone can give on this.
