Select Item field plugin

Here is the Select Item field plugin I created to select Flexicontent Items.

It has the following additional features:

1. Add multiple items and move them up or down (like the Text field plugin)
2. Specify an icon to display after the label
3. Specify a category or categories comma separated.
4. Show files attached to the selected item (using the File field plugin) at the frontside. I have a separate Article and Download section. So, I use this one on an Article to show related downloads from the Download section.
5. Show file information in a tooltip (JTooltip)
6. Show file mime-icon yes or no
7. File icon type (/components/com_flexicontent/assets/images/mime-icon-16 or mime-icon-32 directory)

I'm using this field in the download section to show related articles and visa versa in the article section to show related downloads.
An example can be found on www.petersteffens.nl/artikelen/onderwijs...nding-van-izaak.html . In the Article Information block this field is used for the PDF and Downloads (in this case only one file).

Now we have plenty of plugins to do whatever we want ...

in the version 1.5.5 (r607) it is no longer works
if several fields are turned

only if it is the only field
i can make a selection

what is the reason?

Hello

the functionality and knowledge of that field created a much more powerful field
the related items (relation) field

why would you want to use this old field ?
