jce is also a commerical one.

I am now writing simple field plugin, which allow to select files using elfinder file manager (see elrte.org/elfinder )

it will allow selecting different file type and alow the user to define the directory path for each defined field.

great can you share this at the end ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

the component for joomla is in development I think: elrte.org/redmine/issues/132

the install of the component was successful.

I tested locally, it was working like a charm in the backend but I didn't succeed to run it on the frontend.
error page : not found. I guest that the component doesn't have the files configured for the frontend, no files found in component folder.

Configuration options are basic, for more config options you have to use the controller.php file from the component.

If a joomla developer have a look to this component, he could easily adapt it.

This is very promising.

And with some plugins perfect to complete FC.
