Simply, how do I get the SVN on my development server for testing and tweaking?

Is it the same as 1.5.3c?

Can I just over write current files with SVN files or have there been database changes?

Just wanting to get more involved around here and I love testing and troubleshooting so I thought I should see if any of the stuff I've been working on is already fixed in next release.

I already have the SVN locally, so that's not part of the question, I have that part completely under control :P

.
Stable v3.5.3c is as of SVN revision 354.
So all revisions from r355 to r376 are bug fixes which have not been released.

r377 adds a Joomla 1.6 development branch.
So most (not all) revisions since then are in the J1.6 branch.
There are also a few J1.5 fixes mixed-in there.

There are no database changes to be concerned about.
Usually you can build the J1.5 branch and simply install it over your existing FLEXIcontent installation.
But since around r369 it no longer works for me (site breaks).
So I simply re-installed my modified r363 version.
And my dev sites work again.
This may be related to PHP version, or?
Dunno.

So you can build a J1.5 version from the current SVN and try that.
If you have issues, just re-install a working build.
