selecting an other database on sql field

I would love to link to different databases some links loaded into sql fields.

I saw this plugin to achieve that, so might be possible to integrate better into Flexicontent ?

Or you could just set up a mysql wrapper within the flexi content templates to pull from. Assuming that it will be the same for each type.

I am working on something using a wrapper from www.ricocheting.com/scripts/php_mysql_wrapper.php

to pull links from an external mysql file based on one of the fields created for the type.
