New module: mod_flexihomepage

I am working on a new module that can show latest/featured content from different categories using a tabbed interface (each tab a category).
Some of the settings: Section, Image field, Categories, Include subcategories, Count (more settings to add soon).

I'm halfway descent at hacking through peoples code. And i'm a natural problem solver. So waiting to get my hands on this one.
