please create a joomla template override
(you can google this)

it is easy to do:
simply copy desired files into your Joomla template:

in your case, copy the file:

components/com_flexicontent/views/search/tmpl/default_form.php

to

templates/yourJoomlaTemplate/html/com_flexicontent/search/default_form.php

and edit it to customize it
