JCAL plugin

I'm using JCAL on my site. I've setup my home menu item to blog a flexicontent category.

One of the articles includes the JCAL plugin to show latest events :

{jcal_latest}1{/jcal_latest}

But Flexicontent doesn't process it, so people just seen the snippet.

Anyone have a workaround?

No idea if this will work but might be worth a try for you ...

In FLEXIContent fields -> description enable "Trigger content plugins" and select "JCalPro Latest Events plugin" in the list.

Alas, it didn't work. Going to guess that means I'm out of luck?

Work around seems to be to use the core article manager to assign articles to front page, and then just link home option to frontpage component.

Will work for my needs, as we have 1 article that appears on the home page per month.
